When we present a client with the price of a completed design, the cost is firm. The client does not have to worry about any additional costs being added on after the order has been placed unless there are changes requested by the client and the additional monies are agreed upon by both the client and Wiese Furniture Design.
Estimates given prior to a design being created are just that-estimates, and will vary from the actual cost arrived at prior to presentation of the design. Many clients have found that the cost of their commission compares very favorably with the cost of a similar item in a fine furniture store. Other pieces, because of extremely labor intensive features such as carving, normally are priced higher than a similar production item from a leading manufacturer of fine furniture.
The required deposit upon ordering is 40% with the balance due upon delivery.
Because we are a small firm and the logistics involved in installing large wall
systems or rooms outside of our immediate area can be very complicated, we cannot accept commissions for such items from outside the greater Puget Sound area. Shipping out of area for smaller items can be arranged at additional cost.
