Handcrafted
from solid maple and walnut, this display case was designed to stand alone
on the landing between floors of a large home. Influenced by a style prevelant
in home furnishings in the 1920s, 30s, and early 40s,
we created a piece that elicits rave comments from client and houseguests
alike. The buttery smooth finish of the light maple contrasts with the deep
ebonized walnut and provides a dramatic means of displaying artwork. |

The
richly finished solid mahogany of this double bookcase credenza is a fitting
backdrop for a collection of antique books. Heavy, fluted columns and bold
molding make this traditional piece a stately and solid presence in the
clients library. |

Designed
to present an arresting presence in the entry of a home, this display case
is crafted in solid birch and cherry and fitted with beveled glass. Each
box is indirectly lighted and has a glass top so that small
objets dart can be displayed. The dark mauve crackle lacquer finish
is offset by the rich brown cherry base with its black lacquer banding.

This
gorgeous, solid mahogany French armoire was designed for a very unusual
use-the storage and display of antique photos. It features lighted, glassed-in
display areas on each side. Behind large mirrored doors are 24 slim, but
full width, velvet lined drawers for small photos to rest in for display.
Hand carved moldings and crowning shell are just two of many extraordinary
features of this piece. Visiting guests exclaim at the beauty of this antique
piece. |
