How
to display a valuable glass collection so that it is easily viewed from
all sides and yet secure? Our answer was this gorgeous solid cherry and
maple display unit. Round, fluted corner pillars, bonnet top, beveled glass,
exquisite detailing, subtle lighting, and careful finishing result in this
handsome piece. The cherry is stained to almost an ebony depth and the maple
glass surrounds are colored a rich golden brown. The lustrous finish and
elegant style together create a fitting repose for the beautiful glasswork. |

Crafted
of solid pine in an oriental style, this curio cabinet is one of a pair
we designed for a client. With a heavily distressed surface and an antiqued
finish, these units provide well lighted display areas for the client’s
interesting collection of artifacts. |

These
two pieces serve as sentries in the entry to the dining area of a spacious
Northwest home. Carefully designed to complement a Biedermeier influence
in the home, both units feature black lacquer corner columns with finely
turned bases and pediments with gold leafing. With the combination of the
upper doored area and the lower drawers, the piece pictured to the right
serves as the secure storage area of fine china, crystal, silver, and linens.

This
unit stands opposite the piece described above and provides lighted display
area for large floral arrangements or sculpture. The lower section features
an area for speakers for the homes built-in audio system. They are
placed behind the black speaker cloth which is disguised as a bank of drawers. |
